We are modern, suburban homesteaders who strive to live a more self-sufficient and healthy life everyday.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have a “farmette" in our backyard at our home on Long Island, NY. This is where we keep Honeybees, tend to a Garden, raise Lionhead bunnies and a variety of Poultry. We truly take the utmost of pride in raising and caring for all of our animals.
We love spreading the joy from our home and we look forward to sharing a piece of our homestead with yours.
Our Passion for Poultry
Our mission is to provide high quality birds to other backyard poultry enthusiasts across the nation.
Whether you are looking to expand your egg rainbow or you are looking to add a unique breed, we have something for you!
Our “boutique“ farmette specializes in breeding and raising Chickens - in addition to a few other varieties of Landfowl: including Turkeys, Quail, and Guinea Fowl and Waterfowl: including Ducks and Geese.
We proudly offer both Hybrid and Pure-bred poultry.
We are NPIP Certified and AI Clean, which allows us to ship nationwide.
Our property is Bio-Secure, for the safety of our birds, and is not open to the public.
Customers are still more than welcome to pick up from us, in front, by appointment only.
Our Amazing Apiary
We love our honeybees that are nestled in the heart of our Farmette. Our bees thrive in their peaceful environment, producing some of the finest honey around. We practice sustainable, suburban beekeeping, carefully tending to our bees to ensure they remain healthy and productive. Our bees play a vital role in pollinating local plants and gardens, helping to maintain biodiversity while creating delicious, honey that’s packed with flavor.
Our Rewarding Rabbitry
Our Lionhead bunnies serve as dual purpose pets for us. They are fun, adorable, and cuddly; but they also play a crucial role in our homestead. We cultivate their manure for fertilizer. Occasionally, we allow our bunnies to have a litter of precious kittens. We do not over breed them; we are not a bunny breeding operation. We do take the utmost of pride in being very ethical breeders. Our first goal is to keep our rabbits happy and healthy.
